Saturday, Sept. 4 - NU vs. Western Kentucky
On Saturday, Sept. 4, the Huskers open its 2010 football
season when they play host to Western Kentucky at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.
The Las Vegas Nebraskans Club will be sponsoring the telecast of the game that
will be shown at Torino's Sports Pub & Restaurant, the Husker Headquarters,
located at 5570 West Flamingo, the northwest corner of W. Flamingo & Lindell.
Kickoff is set for 4:05pm. For home viewing, call your cable operator or
satellite provider and ask about Pay-Per-View.
While there is no charge to watch the game at Torino's, the
Las Vegas Nebraskans Club strongly urges all attendees to assist the club by
purchasing raffle tickets and/or club decorated merchandise.
"Nebraska prizes" will be raffled each game. The revenue from
the sale of raffle tickets and merchandise goes toward:

The costs of the televised games

Contributes to cover the expense of the radio broadcasts

Funds the Las Vegas Nebraskans Scholarship Program, whereas
Las Vegas Valley students who attend four-year colleges in Nebraska can make
application for financial assistance

Supports the club's community and civic activities
Seating Policy: With the crowds that attend the
televised games, the Las Vegas Nebraskans Board of Directors has the following
policy. "If you occupy a booth or table at Torino's with less bodies than
what is recommended for that particular booth or table, you will probably be
asked to have fellow Husker fans join you." MEET SOME NEW FRIENDS.
Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Also, there is no smoking in
Torino's. These reminders: NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK CAN BE BROUGHT INTO
TORINO'S. ALSO, NO ALCOHOL CAN BE OPEN OR CONSUMED IN THE PARKING LOT -

Thursday, Sept. 2 - Cornhusker Countdown Radio Show: Be listening
on Thursday afternoons each week at 2:30pm on radio station KLAV (1230 on
the AM dial) during the football season for the Cornhusker Countdown Show.
The program can also be heard on the Internet at KLAV's streaming site:
www.klav1230am.com (On the left-hand
column, click on "Listen Live" for the streaming). The same show repeats on
Saturday morning at 7:00am.
Game Day - Hear the Huskers on Radio: The
play-by-play broadcast of the Nebraska/Western Kentucky game can be heard on
radio station KSHP (1400 on the AM dial) beginning at 4:00pm. You can also
