Plus, a silent auction of Husker memorabilia, raffles, door prizes, a drawing for a Nebraska helmet and a delicious dinner.

We’ll gather at 6:00pm at the Canyon Gate Country Club Grand Ballroom, located at 2001 Canyon Gate Drive (off of West Sahara Avenue & just West of Durango Drive) for a cash-bar cocktail half-hour followed by an all-inclusive buffet dinner. Entrees include Chicken Angelo w/ Artichoke Hearts & Dried Tomatoes, Kalamata Olives served with a Chardonnay Cream Sauce; Beef Tenderloin Tips with Mushrooms in a Port Wine Demi Glaze and Grilled Atlantic Salmon w/ a Citrus Beurre Blanc. Also on the menu Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Rice Pilaf, Buttered Broccolini, Dandelion Salad with Cherry Tomatoes, Red Onion, Cucumbers, Olives & Balsamic Vinaigrette; and Caramel Apple Pie. The cost is $37/50 per person. Those making reservations will receive a confirmation. ADVANCED RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED AND MUST BE RECEIVED BY TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19. This is a gated facility. We must have your reservation plus the names of your attendees so you can gain access at the guard-gate. Please complete and mail the enclosed reservations form. A table is being reserved for those coming to the banquet as “solo” and wish to sit with other “solos” – This is optional.
JOVAN DEWITT- is in his second year as special teams coordinator and coach of the outside linebackers. He has 19 years as a college coach, including nine season a defensive coordinator and five years as a special teams coordinator. Dewitt spent two seasons as the associate head coach for Scott Frost at Central Florida, where he worked with the linebackers and was the special teams coordinator. He’s also had coaching stints at Army West Point, Florida Atlantic and Northern Iowa in addition to Northern Michigan, where he graduated in 1999 with a degree in Physics & Mathematics. At Northern Michigan he was a two-time All-American linebacker. In 1996, he was the Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
MIKE DOBBS - joined the athletic department in September 2008 and was named the executive director of the N-Club in March of 2018. Dobbs focuses on fostering long-lasting relationships with Husker athletic donors and assists with Premium Seating Hospitality. Before moving to the e Nebraska Athletic Development office, Dobbs spent nine years in sales with Crouch Recreation. He also spent 11 years with the Lincoln Public School system as a teacher and coach. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska and was a member of the Husker baseball team from 1982 to 1986. A silent auction of Nebraska memorabilia that benefits the Las Vegas Nebraskans Scholarship Program & the Community Activities Fund will also be conducted throughout the evening. · Saturday, February 23, 2019 — Canyon Gate Country Club – Grand Ballroom - Located at 2001 Canyon Gate Drive. HOWEVER, WE MUST HAVE THE NAMES OF ALL ATTENDEES. · Those making reservations will receive a confirmation – Must be on the reservations list in order to gain entrance at the West Sahara guard gate · Business or Casual attire — No Jeans (Sweaters, skirts, slacks or dresses for women) (Sweaters-dress shirts and slacks for men - sport coats with/without neck ties are optional) · On the night of the banquet, check-in is required at guard-gate and at the ballroom · Refunds based on replacements only
