Be listening on Friday afternoon at 2:00pm on radio KLAV (1230 on the AM dial)
for the Cornhusker Countdown Show as the game between the Huskers and San Jose
State is previewed. The same show repeats on Saturday morning at 7:00am.

– The official TV viewing site for the Husker football games is Torino’s Sports
Pub & Restaurant, located at 5570 West Flamingo (near West Flamingo & Lindell).
While all Nebraska fans are welcomed, the emphasis this season for our viewers
for the televised games will be placed on membership in the Las Vegas Nebraskans
club. If you are a Nevada resident and not a member, then you will be strongly
encouraged to join. (For membership information, click-on "membership" on this
web site). Children are welcome at Torino’s when accompanied by an adult. Also,
this is a “smoke-free” facility. Smokers are relegated to smoke outside the
building.
Saturday, Sept. 6: Huskers vs. San Jose State
Watch the game Free of Charge with the Husker fans at Torino's Sports
Pub. Kickoff is set for 9:30am (PDT). For home viewing, call your cable provider
or your satellite operator and ask about Pay-Per-View. The cost is said to be
$30.
Husker Football on Radio - Due to morning programming
commitments this Saturday, the Nebraska/San Jose State game will not be on
station KSHP. You can hear the game on the Internet at
Huskers.com and on Sirius satellite radio.
The Sirius channel has not yet been announced.
Migration Trip to Lincoln – October 23 thru 26 - The Las Vegas
Nebraskans migration trip to Lincoln for the weekend of Oct. 23-26 for the
Baylor game is Sold Out. Those individuals desiring to go but who
did not register in time for the excursion can be placed on a "stand-by" list by
calling Gary at 228-1616.
