The Las Vegas Nebraskans Club is a social organization founded in 1990. If you're a Nebraska fan and want to be part of a club to socialize with other Nebraska fans...come join us! Most of our members are former residents or have had a past affiliation with the state of Nebraska. Our organization offers a variety of activities. For the televised Nebraska games, our viewing headquarters is Bentley's Bar & Grill, located at 2640 E. Sunset Road, just east of Eastern Ave. and across from the Sunset Park. It's a quick drive from the Las Vegas Blvd. (The Strip), just east of Harry Reid International Airport.

Here's a sampling of what the Las Vegas Nebraskans Club will sponsor this year:

• Husker televised football game-watch parties at Bentley's Bar and Grill 2640 E. Sunset Road, across the street from Sunset Park.

• Las Vegas Aviators baseball game and a Major League Baseball spring training game in Las Vegas.

• Monetary support for UNL scholarships. Plus, financial donations to the UNL athletic department, the Alumni Association, and the Nebraska foundation.

• Holiday Food Project whereas the club collects and solicits monies for the gift cards to the nearest grocery store to the needy elderly facility we have supported for several years during December.

• Participation in Big Ten events, which have included fall socials, spring picnic, summer golf tournament in the past. Now that we are back, we will soon find out which events the Big Ten will be sponsoring.

Information on all of these activities may be found on the website (Lasvegasnebraskans.com), paper mailings and email updates that are sent out. Members can also keep posted of upcoming events by calling the Husker Hot Line, a voice mail service at (702) 223-6992. The Las Vegas Nebraskans Club is the ONLY Official Nebraska Club in southern Nevada.

Annual dues are $30.00 for couples or $20.00 for individuals. $150 Booster Club and $200 Advertiser includes Single/Couple Membership. The membership dues are important as they help support the various mailings, the website, the Husker Hot Line, and other activities. If you participate in the club activities, you will get back more in benefits than you pay in dues.
